ASSISTANT QUALIFICATIONS

Ideal candidates will have an active Utah cosmetology license and share our strong commitment to promptness, professionalism, client safety and satisfaction.

At Ottalaus Salon we pride ourselves in beyond average. During your first few weeks as an assistant you will become familiar with the salon culture and procedures preparing you for the next phase. After passing the necessary requirements, you will assist experienced team members with their guests gaining hands-on experience.

Daily requirements include: Shampooing clients, mixing color, assisting with technical services, and styling. In addition, you will be required to help maintain salon cleanliness and uphold the culture with top-notch customer service and professionalism.

APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM

Discover the unparalleled Stylist Apprenticeship program at Ottalaus Salon, where your journey to becoming a top-tier stylist begins. This exclusive apprenticeship, led by licensed instructors in the state of Utah, offers one-on-one, hands-on training in our award-winning beauty salon.

Learn practical cosmetology theory and hone your skills under the guidance of some of the best artists in the industry. Our comprehensive program prepares you to excel in the state board test, setting you on the path to becoming a licensed professional. Upon licensure, you may have the opportunity to join the esteemed Ottalaus Salon team, often bypassing the standard Assistant Training to start taking clients immediately.
