AnneMarie is the Founder and Owner of Ottalaus Salon, which has two locations in South Jordan and Lehi, Utah.  

She is an avid traveler, mom, owner of several cute pups, and is known for her iconic icy blonde hair.

Oh, and she loves a good luxurious wash from one of our stylists.

Timeline in the Industry

After being a stylist for several years Annemaire bought a space she had previously worked in and remodeled it to become the Lehi Salon. Late the Lehi location was opened in 2017 with the South Jordan one to follow in March of 2021! 

She has also had the opportunity to be a part of New York Fashion Week, speak at conferences, and work with several high-end brands in collaboration for Ottalaus.

The Serum Fortifiant Hair Serum from Kérastase best describes AnneMarie because, just like the serum, she strengthens and supports each team member!

Hello! My name is Taylor, and I'm the team lead and manager for our South Jordan location. I've been a part of the Ottalaus family for approximately six years.

Although I call Utah home now, I'm a beach lover at heart! In my free time, you'll often find me soaking up the sun and dreaming of the coast. When a beach trip isn't possible, I enjoy a great concert or spending quality time with close friends. And of course, I can't forget my dog, who also loves basking in the sun during our walks and playtime.

Timeline in the beauty industry

My journey in the beauty industry spans around twelve years. I attended hair school in the Bay Area of California before eventually making my way to Utah and joining the fantastic Ottalaus Team.

What hair product are you the most like?

If I had to choose a product I'm most like, it would absolutely be Oribe Dry Texture Spray. I love lifting people up and am always there to support the team!

I love traveling, spending time with my family and friends, planning events/gatherings/parties, going to concerts, playing with my grandkids, reading books, exercising, and creating digital scrapbooks for my family. 

I am the Director of Guest Experience, Inventory Manager, VIP Member Concierge, and Bridal Scheduling Specialist. My job is to ensure that the guest's experience is fantastic from the moment they enter the salon. That comes with training the front desk staff, to making sure our product stays in stock, to ensuring the guest's experience with their stylist is fantastic. A lot of what I do is behind the scenes, but my favorite part of my job is when I get to interact with the guests at the front desk. 

What was your timeline like in the beauty industry?

Graduated from Cosmetology in 1998. After that, I began doing hair, as well as working for KMS and Aveda as a Sales Director and Color Educator for the Western US area before joining Ottalaus in 2022. I have recently “retired” from working behind the chair.

What is a juicy hair secret or a story from behind the chair?

I cut a celebrity’s hair once and didn’t know he was famous! 

Which hair product do you think you’re the most like?

Kerastase 8 Hour Hair Serum. I rely on getting 8 hours of sleep a night, otherwise I’m not the most pleasant person to be around lol

My name is Morgan and I am the Lehi Manager!

But I also am a wife and Mom. Living my dream life with my crew. Snowboarding, Boating, being outside, running, yoga, and reading. these are my idea of a good time! 

What was your timeline like in the beauty industry?

“I dreamed of being a stylist 2011. Started school in 2015 graduated 2016. Been doing hair ever since 🤘it’s my passion and I haven’t worked a day in my whole career”.

“the secret to having good hair, is loving yourself!”

Meet Darci – Ottalaus Salon General Manager & Hype Woman

Hey there! I’m Darci, and if there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that I bring equal parts fun, sarcasm, and passion to everything I do—especially when it comes to helping our team and clients thrive at Ottalaus Salon.

A little about me: I’m obsessed with dogs (especially my own, Bo—he’s basically my child). You’ll probably find me on the golf course, out on the water paddleboarding, or getting lost in a good non-fiction book when I'm not at the salon. I have a soft spot for reality dating shows (yes, I know they’re ridiculous, and yes, I love them anyway).

I believe in constantly learning, growing, and inspiring others to step into their best selves. Whether it’s coaching our stylists to build their dream careers or just sharing a good laugh, I’m here to make the salon a place where everyone feels confident, motivated, and maybe even a little unstoppable.
